Poker Run
We had our first annual Rolling Poker Run and what a fine day it was. A bunch of members showed up for the usual meet up and 6 of us went on the run which took us from Billings, to Laurel, to Park City, to Columbus, to Absarokee, to Red Lodge. Each car got to draw a card at each stop and the winning hand in Red Lodge was held by Vinnie F. He won a tote containing window cleaner, paper towels, and a bag of oil absorbent.
There were no mechanical mishaps even though we drove 5 miles of no road south of Absarokee. The group got split in two by the flagger (something to do with a missing hat) so some of us waited ahead along the East Rosebud River, unable to call the others as no cell service was available.
One of the highlights was that we were joined at Red Lodge Ales by a friend of Jeff's who brought her 1939 Chevy pickup which she has proudly restored. A fine looking vehicle.
The video was shot by Sarah G., riding in the Volvo 1800.
